Prerequisites & Admission Requirements

Students must meet the prerequisites for the course, sign the student enrollment agreement and have paid for the course in full or have signed up with autopay and made the first deposit in order to be enrolled.

Students are required to show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent. All responsibility is on the student to provide an official document/transcript showing proof of graduation or completed course sent either by mail or email. Students wishing to receive credit for prior schooling from a state in which ATS is not approved must petition the electrical board in the state they are moving to. Once ATS receives that approval, you may enroll in the course.

Rolling Enrollment

The ATS Year 1 Electrical course is an interactive, online, self-paced course. Each student must complete all course requirements within the 9-month course access period to receive full credit and a completion certificate. There is no penalty for finishing early and starting the following year directly after finishing the course. After the 9-month period has passed, if the student has not completed the course, no credit will be awarded, and the course must be re-purchased to continue schooling. If students have extenuating circumstances or personal issues that prevent timely completion of the course, Advanced Technical Schooling must be contacted via email to request extension of the course end date. Course extensions are made at the sole discretion of ATS and may be denied.

Tuition & Refund Policy

The tuition cost of each course is $1485 and includes textbooks and student portal access for 9 months. There are 2 options for payment: paying in full ($1,485 at time of purchase) or paying by subscription ($495 at time of purchase, a second payment of $495 automatically charged three months from the order date, and final payment of $495 automatically charged six months from the order date).

All refunds shall be paid within 30 days of purchase upon written notification from a student of cancellation or withdrawal. Students receiving benefits from federal programs shall be subject to federal refund policies, rules, and regulations. Students are required to return all textbooks in their original condition to receive a full refund of $1485. If the books are not returned in unused condition, the total refund amount will be $1000.

If the purchaser of the course is the student’s employer or other individual, ATS shall not be involved with any contracts/agreement between the employer/other individual and the apprentice (student) regarding reimbursement for the course should the student leave their employment prior to finishing the course. All purchasers are subject to the same 30-day return policy indicated above.
